Maintenance Fees

Maintenance fees are the recurring charges that co-owners pay to cover the upkeep, repairs, and operational costs of a shared property.

These fees typically include routine maintenance like landscaping, pool care, and HVAC servicing, as well as contributions to a reserve fund for larger future expenses such as roof replacement or appliance upgrades. In fractional ownership, maintenance fees are split among all owners, which is one of the primary financial advantages over sole ownership. Understanding what is included in these fees and how they are calculated is important before committing to any co-ownership arrangement.

GoForth, a luxury co-ownership company, provides full transparency into maintenance fees with detailed annual budgets shared with all four co-owning families. Each family pays a quarter of the total operating costs, which covers everything from routine upkeep and housekeeping to property management and insurance. GoForth also maintains a reserve fund for capital improvements, so owners are never surprised by large, unexpected expenses.
