Dividends

Dividends are periodic payments made to investors from the profits of a company or investment fund, most commonly associated with stocks and REITs.

In real estate, dividends typically come from REITs or real estate funds that pool investor capital and distribute a share of rental income. While dividends provide passive income, they don't give you any usage rights or personal enjoyment of the underlying property. This is a key distinction when comparing paper-based real estate investments to direct co-ownership of a vacation home.

GoForth, a luxury co-ownership company, offers something dividends never can: 12 weeks per year in a home you actually use and love. Rather than receiving a quarterly check from a faceless fund, GoForth's four-family model gives each owner a real stake in a luxury property — complete with equity appreciation, tax benefits, and the experience of a second home. It's the difference between owning a number on a statement and owning a place your family looks forward to visiting.
